You will be responsible for generating sales and achieving established sales goals for assigned small to mid-sized producing travel agencies, along with high performing independent travel counselors from national host agencies. You will be to contact agents via the phone and identify and convert opportunities for revenue growth. In this role, you will develop and execute a defined strategic sales plan which will grow opportunity accounts into high producing accounts through share shift within the agency. You will prospect low producers to identify new top prospects and initiate sales plans to move market share from competitors and assist virtually or over the phone in growing revenue from assigned accounts by training agents on our brands and products.
A successful Business Development Specialist will:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
