    Immediate Need- Full Time Shifts!  Looking for sales-oriented people. GREAT TRAVEL BENEFITS! 

    Position starts 9/17/18- PAID TRAINING CLASS!  Hours of training are M-F 1:30PM-10:00PM (training for 4 weeks). After training, we are looking for people to work the following shift- 4 days during the week and a Saturday or Sunday 1:30PM-10:00PM.

    Pay is $12/hr!  

     

    Purpose:  The Reservations Agent is responsible for making professional, accurate, and cost-effective travel arrangements for Apple Vacations’ clients based on identified needs, within company guidelines and standards for excellent customer service. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide impeccable customer service to internal and external customers
    • Service all calls according to quality assurance performance criteria as outlined on monitoring form
    • Strive for excellence when provided feedback on booking accuracy and monitoring results; incorporate feedback into daily routine
    • Meet individual and departmental goals with regard to customer service, sales, phone stats and productivity
    • Promptly and fully inform immediate supervisor of all problems and unusual circumstances; take corrective action when necessary and/or suggest alternative courses of action
    • Actively maintain, apply and expand knowledge as changes occur; remain current with brochures, website, RESAPI, memos, Res Updates, CORE
    • Participate in hotelier briefings, seminars, fams and meetings to remain current with product information, sales information, customer service skills and computer changes and updates

     Secondary Duties/Responsibilities:

     

    • Special projects as assigned
    • Overtime as required.
    • Attendance at training seminars as required.
    • Travel as required.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    High School Diploma/equivalent required. 

     

    Experience:

    1-2 yrs customer service experience. Travel experience helpful.

    BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH A PLUS!  

     

    Language:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak/write communicate effectively with staff and customers.

     

    Abilities:

    Must be a self-starter that can work well independently and as part of a team. Should be well organized and detail oriented with ability to handle a multitude of tasks and prioritize workload efficiently. Must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

     

    Strong oral communication skills are expected. Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and a positive attitude at all times. Must have the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot any issues.
