  • Overview

    The Wedding Guest Coordinator supports a team of Destination Specialists by handling all wedding guest inquiries and bookings.

    Responsibilities

    • Through understanding of Apple destinations, hotel chains and room categories
    • Consults with the guests of the wedding couple on which room categories, durations and flights best meet their needs and budget
    • Ability to discuss excursions options and pricing
    • Works with Groups to insure that for each wedding the guest booking tracker is accurate and up to date
    • Quote land only and air packages out of ABE,SAP and Worldspan
    • Participate in local and regional wedding tradeshows and events
    • Work with hotels / venues to clarify responses
    • Prepare client response in a timely fashion
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Email, Web Applications
    • Assist in Destination Wedding marketing efforts
    • Participation in AVDW social media

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

     

    Experience:

     

    • 2+ years of experience
    • Strong written and verbal communications
    • Proficient in SAP, Worldspan and ABE
    • Skilled at managing multiple projects / tasks and working with multiple clients
    • Customer Service focused
    • Skilled in hotel contract terms
    • Comfortable pursuing verbal negotiations 

     

    Language: 

     

    • English-Proficiency in other languages and cultures a plus
