    Apple Vacations, America's favorite vacation company, has a part time position available as an Airport Representative at the PHL airport. This position includes greeting clients and assisting with check-in to ensure a smooth and worry-free start to their vacation while providing high visibility and outstanding customer service at all times. Shifts generally last 3-4 hours and may include early morning hours. In case of delays, these hours increase. 

    Responsibilities

     

    A successful candidate must have the following qualifications.
    - Good verbal and written communication skills.
    - Basic knowledge of computers.
    - A pleasant personality and a well groomed appearance are essential. (You will wear a uniform.)
    - Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record.
    - Must have the flexibility to work various flight schedules including weekends. Schedule is subject to change as the season progresses.
    - Enjoy face-to-face contact with our customers.
    - Must be able to solve problems on the spot!
    - Training begins immediately after hire.

    Prior hospitality or travel industry experiences a plus!

     

    Qualifications

    Education:
    High School Diploma/equivalent required. 
     
    Experience:
    1-2 yrs in customer service related role. 1 yr experience with internet and email.
     
    Language:
    Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos and special reports that document all incidents at the airport that are outside of normal operations. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to customers and employees.
     
    Abilities:
    Must be a dependable self-starter that can work well independently and as part of a team. Should be well organized and detail oriented with ability to handle a multitude of tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.  Must have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
     
    Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot issues with emphasis placed on satisfying the customer. Solid knowledge of company policy.  Company minded with a professional attitude and the ability to relate to a variety of customers face-to-face.

    Due to the open airport environment, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
     
    Airport reps must obtain an airport security badge in order to perform all aspects of this position.  All candidates must successfully pass the official airport background screening check in order to obtain a badge.
